Description

 

Integrated Product Support within Mission Technologies - Fleet Sustainment, is looking for a Configuration Data Mgmt Cont 3 to join the team in Hampton, VA. 

What You Will Do

 

  • Maintain, update, organize, and Input records to the MSD Database.
  • Acquire, upload, and distribute new software as needed to Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) and relevant sites/locations, including the NNS IDE, Navlog PTD Share, and PEO Carriers sites.
  • Maintain regular email correspondence, interacting with and informing necessary parties of record/software/report updates and deliveries.
  • Create, update, and deliver transmittal and submittal reports for overhaul and new construction hulls.
  • Burn and encrypt CDs for necessary projects.
  • Provide administrative assistance to Program Managers and Team Leads.
  • File received commitment letters.
  • Be familiar with the following Programs/Databases/Sites: Microsoft Access (full version), Microsoft office (Excel and Word), McAffee, NNS IDE, PEO Carriers, Navlog PTD Share, and DDMS.

What You Must Have

 

  • Candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.
  • Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel. 
  • Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen. 
  • Candidate must be able to obtain/maintain a Confidential Clearance. 

Bonus Points For ...

 

  • Adept in data entry, problem solving, and working autonomously is highly preferred. 
  • Possess good communication skills is highly preferred.
