Job Description

 

HII – Technical Solutions (HII-TSD) provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide.

HII – TSD is currently seeking a Senior Geospatial Intelligence Analyst to work onsite in Fayetteville, NC and Fort Bragg, NC as well as OCONUS locations. #LI-NM1

Essential Job Responsibilities

 

Provides analysis and research for industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerability. Prepares assessments of current events based on the sophisticated collection, research and analysis of classified and open source information. Develops and maintains analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure maximum operations. Collects data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processes.

A successful Senior Geospatial Intelligence Analyst shall perform advanced level geospatial, topographic, and imagery analysis in support of Special Operations missions with regional and point analysis products to support Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, and Analyze Targeting methodology.

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Clearance: Cleared at the TOP SECRET level with SCI eligibility at the start of this task and must be able to obtain SCI access within 30 days of filling an assigned billet.
  • Senior Geospatial Intelligence Analysts have 6 years of progressive experience with operational and tactical level intelligence performing complex and timely geospatial topographic, and imagery analysis of ground feature and remotely sensed data, to include general experience in the fields of targeting, intelligence, or geospatial systems.
  • Be proficient in utilizing GIS applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
  • Possess a broad understanding of collection processes and management.
  • Performs geospatial processing and develops new methodologies to solve complex tactical intelligence problems.
  • Experience directly supporting military operations in both garrison and deployed environments.
  • Be able to operate basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office.
  • Possess strong demonstrated briefing skills and maintain professionalism.
  • Must be a self-starter who can successfully process multiple tasks simultaneously and make decisions in a high stress, time sensitive environment.
  • Be able to deploy OCONUS.
  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII requirements.

Preferred Requirements

 

  • Proficient in integrating with other intelligence disciplines.
  • Demonstrates a working knowledge of how geospatial techniques are used to support the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze (F3EA) targeting cycle.
  • Should possess a working knowledge of computer scripting languages such as Python, Java Script, HTML, R, or SAS.
  • Previous experience in the SOF community relevant to the specific labor category is highly desirable.

Physical Requirements

 

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
