Job Description
HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a ServiceNow Platform Systems Engineer to work out of and be a site lead in Fort Meade, MD, in support of the Pegasus multi-national developed capability that connects respective existing national Secret networks and services to deliver improved information sharing capabilities between Australia, Canda, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Essential Job Responsibilities
Leverages ServiceNow ESM platform for system engineering functions with an emphasis on configuration management and,
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Experience working with ServiceNow
- Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance.
- Must have a current IAT Level II certification in accordance with DOD Directive 8140.01, Cyberspace Workforce Management, DoD 8570.01-M Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program Certifications
Preferred Requirements
• Experience working in or for the military
• Expertise in Multi-national Combatant Command-level military exercises, coalition networking in support of military operations, and/or Mission Partner Environments, such as Pegasus.
• Experience or interest in materials, material applications, defense systems, and/or supply chains.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
• Effective data analysis and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.
• Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Agile/Scrum Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Scrum, how Scrum is done, standard Scrum/Agile.
