HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is currently seeking a Senior Spanish Cryptologic Language Analyst to perform tasks required to process language materials/data at the customer site in Fort Meade, Maryland.
What you will do
The candidate shall demonstrate the following cryptologic language processing skills:
- Scanning, sorting/categorizing foreign language written and verbal materials to recover essential elements of information
- Completing lists, translations, and transcriptions, of complex and sophisticated written and/or spoken materials from required language to English, and English to the required language
- Performing quality control on language processing activities
- Compiling and updating operational work aids and databases
- Drafting intelligence reports
What we are looking for
- 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience
- Performance at Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) skill level 3 in audio translation and text translation from Spanish into idiomatic, standard American English; skill level shall be documented within 2 years prior to resume submission
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly
Bonus points for...
- 10 years full time experience or 14 years of experience without degree
- Equivalent of 10 years full time combined cryptologic language processing, related language, and/or related cryptologic experience
- At least 6 of the 10 years of experience shall be in performing Cryptologic Operations language processing; no more than 4 years shall be in a combination of related language experience and related cryptologic experience
- At least 3 of the 6 years of experience in the required language(s) shall be in translating and/or transcribing, and gisting
- At least 1 of the 6 years of experience in the required language(s) shall be in performing quality control review of ILR level 3 audio translations and/or text translations
- 2 years of end product reporting experience
- 3 years performing Computer Network Operations
