This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems.

Summary

Mission Technologies, a division of HII, is hiring a Knowledge Management Specialist to support full-spectrum cyber operations at Fort Meade, MD.  

 

As a Knowledge Management Specialist you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing systems and processes to capture, store, share, and utilize critical knowledge with a Mission Technologies' customer that is responsible for unifying the direction of cyberspace operations, strengthening DoD cyberspace capabilities, and integrating and bolstering DoD's cyber expertise.

 

You will manage and maintain the organization's knowledge management environment, ensuring effective collaboration and information sharing.  You will develop and implement knowledge management strategies to optimize the use of information resources.  

 

An active TS/SCI Clearance with Poly is required for consideration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.  
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Poly 

 

Preferred Requirements

Minimum three (3) years of experience as a Knowledge Management Specialist to include: 

  • Knowledge building, knowledge sharing, and knowledge management skills 
  • Cooridinating efforts to mainstream knowledge management into core activities and projects, independently builds partnerships and promotes initiatives to identify, and creates and shares knowledge relevant to solving issues and maximizing opportunities 
  • Promoting collaborative tools to facilitate sharing of ideas and work among internal teams and external partners 
  • Demonstrated abilities to input information into data collection systems, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Able to assist in developing knowledge articles, guides or training materials to support staff operations
