Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to drive excellence in the operation of secure DoD facilities. This role focuses on efficient facility management, meticulous inventory control, and the handling of classified systems, equipment, and materials. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring operational integrity, adherence to regulatory requirements, and overall facility safety.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Facility Operations: Oversee daily maintenance, repair, and operational activities, ensuring secure and efficient facility performance.
- Asset & Inventory Management: Implement rigorous tracking and documentation processes for classified systems and equipment, maintaining real-time accuracy of inventory records.
- Security & Compliance: Develop, enforce, and periodically update policies and procedures to meet government standards for classified asset management and facility security.
- Logistics Coordination: Optimize space utilization and coordinate the deployment and relocation of assets, ensuring logistical efficiency.
- Auditing & Inspections: Conduct scheduled audits and inspections to verify compliance, identify risks, and implement corrective measures promptly.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to streamline facility operations and support mission-critical initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Expertise: 5+ years of demonstrated experience in facility management and the handling of classified materials, systems, and equipment.
- Regulatory Knowledge: In-depth understanding of DoD facility operations, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Core Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
- Clearance: Must hold an active TS/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph.

Preferred Requirements
Expertise: 7+ years of demonstrated experience in facility management and the handling of classified materials, systems, and equipment.
- Experience managing secure facilities within a high-security DoD environment.
- Proficiency with advanced facility management systems and asset tracking tools.
- Additional certifications in facility management or security operations.
- Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing complex projects effectively.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in a Classified Warehouse / Facility environment. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment.
