Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries - Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Web Programmer to provide geospatial software development and application support. 

Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Support and further development of an existing web viewer application in the Esri JavaScript API and other related technologies. 
  • Assist in the ingestion of geospatial data including imagery, maps, charts, GIS feature data and integrated GIS data to the Sponsor's web applications. 
  • Assist in building geospatial and statistical analysis tools that identify spatial and temporal patterns in event data, threat analysis, and the creation of fused products to support intelligence in a spatial context. 



Minimum Qualifications


  • Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, writing, verbal communication, and graphical representation skills.Sound judgment and creative problem solving and independent working skills.
  • Sound interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, to include varying levels and types (Government, industry, and academia).Facilitation skills to bring diverse groups together on issues and reach concensus across stakeholders.
  • The ability to perform complex analyses and to communicate its results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations.
  • Technical understanding of the systems supporting aspects of the functional areas.
  • Knowledge of standard tools [e.g., the Agency Data Services Network (ADSN), iCE workstations, Microsoft Office, the Agency Internet Network (AIN), and the Microsoft Office software applications], as appropriate; and a demonstrated ability to learn to use and support other tools that may be added or developed as the program evolves.
  • Flexibility in assisting with ad hoc tasks and in adjusting as tasks are re-prioritized.


      Experience: 20+ Years with Bachelors or 18+ Years with Masters or 15+ Year with Phd or JD or 9+ Years with MD or DVM or HS diploma + 25+ years of relevant experience.

     Security clearance Requirements: Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI with Polygraph
