Who we are

HII-Technical Solutions Division (HII-TSD) is currently seeking a Technology Area (TA) Lead for Software Development and Analytics that can work remotely. The (TA) lead will be responsible for evolving our Software Development and Analytics operation. You will develop solutions and methodologies that drive our growth and market position. 

As the Technology Area Lead for Software Development and Analytics, you will define and execute a roadmap to grow our capability and capacity. You will identify near and far-term technology trends and take action to incorporate them into solutions for our customers. The TA leader will serve as the organization's voice in their area of expertise. We are looking for someone who can see the big picture and roll up their sleeves to lead the team to develop a prototype solution.

What you should bring with you (Skills/Experience)

  • A track record of innovation by defining and executing new ideas that solve our customers hardest problems.
  • Diverse experience and skills in data analysis, analytic programming languages, visualization software, database management, and statistical software.
  • Determines the overall Software Development and Analytics strategy and approach to align to the customer's objectives and requirements.
  • Embraces SCRUM, agile development, and building processes. Establish DFS best practices, lessons learned, and technological methods related to Software Development and Analytics.
  • Develop a talent pool and communities of practice across HII-TSD dedicated to Software Development, and Analytics focused on sharing best practices and lessons learned.
  • Lead teams in the development of technical solutions and prototypes.
  • Establishes strong relationships with partners and works to drive high innovative solutions.
     

What you must have

  • 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing successful technical solutions and prototypes for large, complex Software Development and Analytics opportunities/proposal submissions for the US Federal Government.
  • Demonstrated experience in modern Software Development and Analytics tools and techniques including DevSecOps, CI/CD infrastructure, and microservices. 
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a SECRET clearance

Bonus points for...

  • Active TOP SECRET clearance. SCI eligibility or CI/Poly is preferred.
  • Experience developing solutions in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure environments. 
  • Familiarity with the United States Air Force Platform One DevSecOps Enterprise Services.
