Job Description

HII - Technical Solutions is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to work out of their Fairfax, VA office.  As a member of dynamic Pricing team, you will be responsible for developing and preparing complex pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market in response to government solicitations.

Essential Job Responsibilities


  • Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations such as the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), as well as corporate policies and procedures with regard to cost proposal preparation, review, approval and, submission
  • Develop complex pricing models, cost/price analysis, and pricing strategies for proposal efforts, consistent with solicitation requirements
  • Manage cost inputs from multiple sources in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment
  • Preparing and presenting pricing strategies and pricing reviews to upper management
  • Work closely with Contracts, Subcontracts, Operations teams, and other functional support organizations to ensure the cost/price proposal is compliant, accurate, competitive and profitable.
  • Analyze vital cost metrics to determine the viability of various pricing approaches
  • Develop, coordinate, analyze, and prepare price proposals and supporting documentation in accordance with solicitation requirements, Government regulation, and corporate policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • 6 years of professional experience supporting pricing, finance, data analysis, program control, or similar functions
  • Experience working with different government contract types, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, LH, BPA, and IDIQ
  • Thorough knowledge of the FAR, DFAR & CAS
  • Use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong proficiency in Excel
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and reasoning skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with all levels of the organization
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere
