Job Description

HII – Technical Solutions provides mission-critical engineering and technical service to Information Technology, Federal Civilian, and National Security, Aerospace & Defense and International government and commercial customers at over 100 locations worldwide. From building enterprise IT systems and creating the federal government’s newest cyber security standards to operating intelligence collection platforms and training F-15 pilots, HII solves some of the toughest challenges for the nation’s defense and federal agencies.


HII- TS is currently seeking a Pricing Analyst to work out of their Fairfax, VA office. As a member of a dynamic Pricing team, you will be responsible for the development, preparation complex pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market in response to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and or Rough Order of Magnitudes (ROMs) for Federal Government clients; providing guidance on pricing strategies and best practices to Senior Managers.


Essential Job Responsibilities
  • Evaluate customer requirements and develop strategies for meeting them
  • Analyze vital cost metrics to determine the viability of various pricing approaches
  • Manage cost inputs from multiple sources in a dynamic, deadline-oriented environment
  • Provide real-time strategic guidance to all levels of leadership
  • Prepare thorough and accurate price proposals that satisfy all customer requirements
  • Develop, coordinate, analyze, and prepare price proposals and supporting documentation in accordance with solicitation requirements, Government regulation, and corporate policies.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or related field
  • 0-5 years of professional experience supporting pricing, finance, data analysis, program control, or similar functions
  • Use of Microsoft Office Applications with a strong proficiency in Excel
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and reasoning skills
  • Ability to communicate and interact well with all levels of the organization
Preferred Requirements
  • Experience working with different government contract types, including FFP, T&M, CPFF, CPAF, CPIF, LH, BPA, and IDIQ
  • Thorough knowledge of the FAR, DFAR & CAS
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-oriented atmosphere
