Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies Corp. is currently seeking a Transition-In Manager for a large GSA Task Order contract. This position can be remote and will require occasional travel to CONUS locations.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Manages overall aspects of Transition-In for a large General Services Agency (GSA) Assisted Acquisition Services (AAS) Task Order contract
  • Prepares and implements a comprehensive low-risk Transition-In plan, accounting for all CONUS and OCONUS requirements  
  • Prepares updates, reports, and deliverables according to planned schedule and milestones, and briefs the GSA AAS COR, TPOC, and other stakeholders on progress
  • Coordinates with CONUS and OCONUS staff, government, and the outgoing incumbent to ensure mission continuity throughout the Transition-In
  • Oversees the receipt of Government furnished property (GFP) and inventory management process to ensure 100% accountability of all GFP throughout the Transition-In
  • Identifies Transition-In-related technical, management, and staffing risks and proposes mitigation strategies  

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
  • Candidate must have an active TS w/ SCI eligibility in order to start.
  • Experience transitioning large programs with multiple CONUS and OCONUS performance locations
  • Experience transitioning programs handling large inventory of GFP
  • Experience and Knowledge of GSA AAS Task Order contracts 

Preferred Requirements

 Experience with transitioning-in programs >$500M and/or >300 FTE

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
