Summary:

HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking a Talent Acquisition Partner to support our All-Domain Operations business group. In this role, you will work closely with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team members to identify, attract, and hire talent supporting defense, intelligence, cyber, and mission-focused programs across the United States and internationally.

The ideal candidate has experience managing full life-cycle recruiting and enjoys working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. This individual should have experience recruiting for technical skill sets, while also being comfortable supporting a variety of positions that may include program management, operations, logistics, intelligence, training, and other mission-support functions.

You’ll be joining a strong, collaborative TA team committed to excellence and supporting critical mission-focused programs. You’ll also have access to HII’s full suite of competitive benefits, including strong health coverage, company‑matched retirement savings, paid time off, and 10 paid federal holidays, designed to support you both at work and at home.

This is a remote position, with occasional travel to hiring events, business locations, or team meetings as needed.

What You Will Do:

  • Manage full life-cycle recruiting for assigned positions supporting the All-Domain Operations business group, from intake and sourcing through offer acceptance and preboarding.
  • Partner with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition team members to understand position requirements, candidate qualifications, hiring priorities, and timelines.
  • Develop and implement recruiting and sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates for technical, operational, professional, and mission-support roles.
  • Recruit for a variety of skill sets, which may include engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, intelligence, program management, logistics, training, field operations, and other specialized positions.
  • Source qualified candidates through job boards, internal databases, professional networks, social media, Boolean searches, referrals, career fairs, and direct outreach.
  • Help build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, high-volume, and difficult-to-fill positions.
  • Conduct candidate screenings to evaluate experience, qualifications, competencies, clearance requirements, compensation expectations, and alignment with position requirements.
  • Work with hiring managers to review candidate qualifications, coordinate interviews, facilitate selection decisions, and move candidates through the hiring process.
  • Provide hiring managers with updates on recruiting activity, candidate availability, and potential hiring challenges.
  • Manage job postings, candidate submissions, interview coordination, selection activity, offer development, pre-closing, and candidate communication.
  • Deliver a responsive and positive experience for candidates and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition information in SuccessFactors and other Talent Acquisition systems.
  • Support recruiting efforts associated with new business awards, program transitions, incumbent capture, and other time-sensitive staffing initiatives.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition and business meetings, sharing recruiting updates, challenges, and potential solutions.
  • Collaborate with other recruiters and Talent Acquisition team members to share candidate pipelines, sourcing techniques, and recruiting best practices.
  • Represent HII Mission Technologies at virtual and in-person hiring, networking, military, and industry events as needed.
  • Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and Talent Acquisition processes.

What We're Looking For:

  • 3 years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree in a related field; 1 year of relevant experience with a master's degree in a related field; or a high school diploma or equivalent and 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience managing full life-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, candidate evaluation, interview coordination, offer management, and closing.
  • Experience recruiting for technical skill sets, such as engineering, cybersecurity, information technology, software, intelligence, technicians, or other specialized roles.
  • Ability to recruit across a varied portfolio of technical, operational, professional, and mission-support positions.
  • Experience using sourcing techniques such as Boolean searches, job boards, social media, professional networks, internal databases, referrals, and direct candidate outreach.
  • Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple requisitions, prioritize competing responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with hiring managers, candidates, and team members.
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment while maintaining communication with geographically dispersed stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for hiring events, business meetings, or other recruiting activities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience recruiting candidates with active security clearances or supporting positions with clearance and security requirements.
  • Experience supporting high-volume hiring, program transitions, contract awards, incumbent capture, or contingent hiring.
  • Familiarity with technical and mission-focused talent markets and sourcing strategies for specialized positions.
  • Experience using SuccessFactors or a similar applicant tracking system.
