Who we are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Senior CPSR Compliance Analyst to join the team! This position can be a remote or hybrid opportunity based out of our Fairfax, VA location. The Senior CPSR Compliance Analyst supports the organization’s procurement function by ensuring full compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), and Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements. This role performs detailed procurement file audits, develops compliant processes, partners with internal stakeholders, and helps maintain an approved purchasing system. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and experienced in government contracting environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct systematic reviews of procurement files to ensure compliance with CPSR standards, FAR/DFARS regulations, company policies, and contractual requirements.
  • Identify gaps, risks, and potential non-compliances; recommend and track corrective actions.
  • Assist in preparation, execution, and follow up activities for CPSR audits, including data calls, file population readiness, and auditor engagement.
  • Assist in the Development and maintenance of procurement policies, procedures, templates, checklists, and training materials. \
  • Collaborate with procurement buyers, category managers, subcontract administrators, legal, and finance to strengthen compliant purchasing practices.
  • Provide one on one coaching and group training on CPSR critical elements such as price analysis, source justification, cost/price reasonableness, competition documentation, commercial item determinations, and subcontractor flow downs.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and interpret their implications for the procurement organization.
  • Support internal audit and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the overall health of the purchasing system.
  • Assist with supplier evaluations, subcontract file closeout, and documentation control as required. 

What you need to have:

  • 10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in business, supply chain, or related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in government procurement, or compliance related role; 1-3 years in a compliance or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR Part 44, DFARS, CPSR requirements, and U.S. Government contracting principles.
  • Practical experience reviewing or maintaining compliant procurement or subcontract files.
  • Ability to analyze complex regulatory requirements and translate them into actionable guidance.
  • Excellent written communication skills, especially in documentation and audit responses.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage simultaneous reviews or audits.

Bonus points for:

  • Experience participating in a CPSR or supporting purchasing system audits.
  • Familiarity with cost/price analysis techniques, including TINA/Truthful Cost or Pricing Data considerations.
  • Knowledge of Deltek Costpoint, and Unison Contract Lifecycle Management Software.
  • Professional certifications such as CFCM, CCCM, CPCM, or CSCP.
