This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Project Coordinator. This position is authorized for remote work and is part-time.  The Project Coordinator represents the organizational unit on administrative matters. Recommends, interprets, and/or implements company and internal administrative policies and procedures. Performs as a generalist a combination of administrative tasks in such functional areas as travel, finance, human resources, purchasing, research, and development. In this role, you may prepare budgeting, project scheduling, and statistical reports as required.

 

This position is contingent upon funding being awarded. 

What You Will Do

  • Prepares, tracks, and manages Travel Authorizations and Trip Reports (including reconciling actual costs) Coordinate with subcontractors' travel teams for ensuring proper communication of required deliverables Develop, evaluate, revise, and update project materials such as publications, and online resources.
  • Identify key partners within the organization and build these partnerships.
  • Facilitate meetings, training, group discussions, and other events.
  • Aid in the organization of planning meetings.
  • Create and support project outreach, marketing, and information dissemination.
  • Support budget tracking and invoicing in accordance with federal guidelines.
  • Draft required documents such as project reports and position descriptions.
  • Maintain ongoing and effective communication with the project team, staff members, and partners. Other duties as assigned.
     

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have excellent time management, verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
  • Possess demonstrated experience in the areas of conflict resolution.
  • Be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations.
  • Be a dependable team player.
  • Prior experience working with government contractors supporting the DoD or other military customers.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Familiar with Smartsheet platform
  • Strong understanding of JTR (Joint Travel Regulations)
