Job Description

HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Program Manager to lead the C-UAS/SAF-AQ Sub-portfolio under All Domain Operations Networks and Emerging Operations Portfolio

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Leads team of sub-portfolio Program and Project Manager
  • Responsible for the profit and loss (P and L) responsibility for sub-portfolio
  • Responsible for providing program management oversight to multiple customers requiring coordination of program requirements across planning stages with several subcontractors.
  • Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
  • Program may be based out of a single location utilizing established technologies requiring standard application to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
  • Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
  • Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
  • Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees assigned to the program.
  • Provides guidance recommendations to commercial and government senior level staff.
  • Document MITL deficiencies, prioritize system upgrades to meet customer demand
  • Prepares or coordinates the preparation of proposals as required.
  • Leads and/or participates in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, readiness exercises, training, education and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements.
  • Monitors standards for the quality of programs and documents.  Assists in the resolution of project and program priorities.  Assures quality control throughout all contract activities.
  • Assists in the development and monitoring of budgets, work breakdown structures and other management procedures as required to manage projects.
  • Demonstrates excellent writing and presentation skills to develop briefings, documents, papers, conceptual and analytical reports for clients.
  • Will assist co-workers with training, guidance, and insight into needed efforts for the organization.
  • Develops/grows existing and new business opportunities within sub-portfolio
  • Manages and leads subcontractor relationships
  • Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
  • Experience as a GSA or DoD program manager at the O6/GS-15 level
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedule to support customer requirements
  • Clearance- must possess and maintain a Secret Clearance
