Summary:
HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Labor Compliance Analyst to join our company. This position will be located in our Fairfax, VA office or remote. This position will be responsible for monitoring labor records via timesheet data, support payroll process, to include reviewing and understanding labor transactions, communicating with Business Unit POCs to address timesheet data inconsistencies and facilitate time collection.
What You Will Do:
- Review and analyze timekeeping records and policies to ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
- Maintain familiarity with Mission Technologies’ organizational structure and changes to business unit contacts.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless processing of timesheets and labor collection.
- Identifying potential non-compliance issues and recommending corrective actions to employees and/or POCs.
- Manage approval and proxy permissions in Deltek Time & Expense.
- Partner with management to collect and review data to facilitate resolutions of timesheet and labor challenges.
- Stay up to date with labor legislation and any changes to that legislation.
- Ensure compliance with all payroll laws and organizational policies.
- Educate employees on the proper use of the timekeeping system and approved timekeeping practices.
- Maintaining payroll systems and reporting any issues to management.
- Ensure timely and professional responses to payroll questions.
- Coordinate with internal & external audits.
- Attending to payroll or timesheet-related questions from employees quickly and efficiently.
What We're Looking For:
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint & T&E.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft Excel
- Excellent communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills
- Familiarity with labor legislation including state and federal tax laws.
- Experience with Federal and State labor laws and regulations.
- The ability to ethically work with employee-sensitive information.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Good interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with team members.
