Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Program Specialist to be part of the Program Management Office. This role is to support the upcoming Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) TO.  The Program Specialist focuses on standardizing business practices through a combination of administrative tasks in functional areas such as travel, finance, human resources, purchasing, contractual deliverables and logistics.  The LOGIX TO will support the JADC2 goal to deliver a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support continued progress and sustainment of the JADC2 Strategy, the LOGIX TO support the accelerated application of technological solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions.

 

In this role, you will help analyze and standardize business operations practices, driving efficiencies in execution in the various functional support group areas.  Duties may include research and analysis, formulating and implementing process improvements, and coordinating with business and technology teams to ascertain system requirements, such as program functions, output requirements, input data acquisition, and system techniques and controls. 
 

What You Will Do

  • Align business operations activities and personnel with strategic mission and goals of the organization.
  • Standardize business operations practices, develop SOPs and training to drive efficiencies in execution.
  • Review status of project actions and deliverables, managing schedules and milestone events; serve as primary point of contact to resolve business related matters within your assigned roles and responsibilities.
  • Assess project status and issues, implement deadlines, and report on progress to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Drive automation and process workflows in Smartsheet, working collaboratively in an online Teams and SharePoint environment.
  • Support development of Work Breakdown Structures, Monthly Contractor Performance Reports and various other contractual deliverables.
  • Interface with the Program Support Office (PSO) to drive standardized solutions across program objectives.
  • Other duties may be assigned, as necessary.
     

What We Are Looking For

  • 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  • Be proficient with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Have excellent time management, verbal and written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
  • Possess demonstrated experience in the areas of conflict resolution.
  • Be flexible and possess the ability to function in stressful situations.
  • Be a dependable team player with a positive and one team mindset.
  • Prior experience working with government contractors supporting the DoD or other military customers.

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Familiar with Smartsheet platform
  • Strong understanding of JTR (Joint Travel Regulations), and FTR (Federal Travel Regulations)
  • Previous experience resolving business related matters. 
  • Previous experience developing or editing SOPs.
