Who We Are

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Logistics Management Analyst 4 – Warehouse Operations Manager to join our Central Inventory Control Point (CICP) team located in Elkridge, MD. The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of warehouse shipping and receiving as well as inventory management, ensuring ITAR compliance, and accounting for all Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) and Contractor Furnished Property (CFP). They direct all logistics and sustainment support functions for multiple task orders controlling the efficient flow of goods, services, and information between point of origin through customer placement to meet customer requirements. They ensure that customer service and time objectives are achieved to meet objectives and ensures the execution and continuous improvement of standard logistics processes, such as the replenishment system, data interchange systems, demand management, electronic data systems administration and related functions. The Warehouse Operations Manager builds relationships with strategic customers through logistics initiatives and integrates learning from customers, competitors, operating entities, distribution, transportation, customer service, other industries, industry groups, and professional training to continuously improve competitive position.

What You Will Do

  • Coordinates with material developers/innovators on logistic support elements needed for Mission Partner employment, testing, transition, and sustainment
  • Identifies logistic support documentation to be included such as drawings, technical manuals, and maintenance requirement cards to support life cycle of product
  • Develops and maintains Logistics Support Plan and SOP
  • Reviews Equipment Utilization Report and Operational Readiness Report for accuracy and compliance
  • Maintains the Access Control Inventory Report
  • Provides oversight and reporting status of the procurement actions using a cloud-based inventory system to track and inventory government furnished equipment (GFE)
  • Evaluates and recommends modifications to existing portal applications
  • Actively work to solve daily issues/concerns for customer and logisticians
  • Organize and plan routine and atypical shipments
  • Oversee all shipping and receiving responsibilities of the logistics team
  • Ensures assets are processed correctly and moved in a timely manner
  • Provides additional coverage completing open actions when team is task saturated and/or short-staffed
  • Assist CICP Manager with ODIN development and improvement
  • Track shipments to final destination and resolve in ODIN
  • COMSEC Management
  • Performs daily shipping and receiving activities including but not limited to routine monitoring of email and government sites for shipping notifications, performing visual inspections of equipment, ensuring proper labeling, documentation, and inclusion of required components
  • Interacts with customers to complete order requests
  • Transports inventory to and from local destinations
  • Ensures that inventory surveys are performed in accordance with established procedures
  • Maintains automated and manual accounting records
  • Reconciles activity records for monthly and quarterly reporting and status review
  • Maintain Travel and FedEx Shipping logs
  • Assist in lifecycle management documentation
  • Assist in product integration and fit tests
  • Work with Procurement to make purchases
  • Run weekly vendor history reports
  • Participate/Conduct training on assets (Recognition/components/usage)
  • Identify and prepare for all TDYs
  • Ensure warehouse is maintained in a professional manner
  • Coordinate and process turn-ins of excess or decommissioned assets using ETIDS through local DRMO offices
  • Responsible for training new logisticians on all task related to the CICP
  • Performs duties as CICP Manager in their absence

What We Are Looking For

  • Security Clearance: must have and be able to maintain an active Top Secret (TS)/ Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with Counterintelligence (CI) Poly
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 14+ years’ relevant experience
  • Bachelors in related field and 10+ years’ relevant experience
  • Masters in related field and 8+ years’ relevant experience
  • 3+ years’ experience with supply chain or asset management
  • Experience with logistics lifecycle management support operations
  • Working knowledge of DoD specifications and guidelines
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to travel long distances within CONUS approximately 10% of the time

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Familiarity with COMSEC, ETIDS, ODIN, and/or DIAS software
  • Familiarity with FedEx, TMO, LOC, and DCS
  • Previous work with Special Sensors
  • Prior military logistics experience (Army MOS 92A, Air Force 2G0X1, Navy LS)
  • Aerospace industry logistics experience
