This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Who We Are
HII – Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Project Manager to be assigned to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar to provide all supervision, labor, incidental materials, and other services necessary to perform programmatic support services to SPACECENT to provide support in collecting, analyzing, documenting, reviewing, and coordinating programmatic requirements listed below.
In addition to your base salary this role will help with housing and other necessitates required to reside in Qatar.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Research, plan, establish, and recommend procedures to implement and programmatic functions to meet program requirements.
- Develop and monitor program schedules.
- Provide input for program budget development.
- Interface/coordinate with CENTCOM, SPACECENT, Qatari Government Representatives, and other DA agencies and contractors.
- Ensure adherence/compliance to all applicable laws, regulations, and business plans.
- Provide input in program review meetings to evaluate progress and make recommendations.
- Coordinate In-Process Review (IPR) preparation and documentation.
- Provide programmatic input for correspondence, draft briefing charts, Air Force/Space Force memorandums to other agencies, briefings, slides, brochures, and charts in support of SPACECENT.
- Organize and coordinate Requests for Proposal (RFP) activities, including response to Contractor requests for information and preparation of RFP amendments for Government review and approval.
- Advise and assist the Government Program Managers on reviewing Contractor proposals, designs, and submittals to ensure that they satisfy SPACECENT requirements. establish clear organizational lines of authority and responsibility to ensure effective management of the resources assigned to the requirement.

What We Are Looking For
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
- Prior experience supporting Space Operations
- Must be a US Citizen
- Possess a valid State issued driver’s license.
- Possess a current valid US Passport.
- Fluently speak, read, and write English.
- Must have the ability to successfully pass CENTCOM medical requirements.
- Must be able to obtain a Country visa (as required in line with the U.S. Department of State Foreign Clearance Guide).
- Experience managing performance-based projects and/or programs with multiple international performance locations.
- Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills including the ability to lead up, across, and down multiple business and technology organizations.
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation, and excellence.
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain an active Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility.
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Master's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Science, or relevant degree of facility and infrastructure type project that supports services.
- Space Operations supporting USCENTCOM Operations
- 8+ years of experience supporting highly complex DoD projects.
- Experience in working at US Military Bases outside of the United States, especially bases located in Qatar or other areas in the Middle East.
- Experience in working with US Air Force facilities and Civil Engineering teams.
- Project Management experience with managing Cost, Schedule, and Performance of a project.

Physical Requirements
This position may be located in an environment with harsh and dangerous working and living conditions. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may regularly be exposed to extreme and austere desert-like environment. Temperatures can reach 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit / 50-55 degrees Celsius during the summer months. Employees must be willing and able to perform regular job requirements in this austere, extreme environment. Employees must be willing and able to perform physical activities including, but not limited to, heavy lifting and moving of items, parts, assemblies, and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum; climbing in and out of equipment; crawling; and working outdoors. This includes being able to lift and carry 40 pounds of personal protective equipment for extended periods of time.
