Job Description

Huntington Ingalls Industries (HII) - Mission Technologies is currently hiring for a part-time receptionist to work at Wright Patterson AFB. The part-time individual will work 12:30 to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday. This position will require the candidate to cover the front desk, check in visitors, check/submit clearances in DISS and answer and route incoming phone calls. Additional duties will include various administrative tasks and support.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and assist them in processing through the visitor identification and badging process according to standard operating procedures.
  • Work with visitor sponsors/coordinators to prepare visitor badges and other actions as required to provide superior customer service.
  • Should have excellent multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Protect and control Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in accordance with local procedures.
  • Send, receive and verify personnel security clearances via DISS.
  • Perform random security inspections and enforce local policy regarding introductions of prohibited items in to the facility.
  • Receive and disseminate incoming mail and sign for packages
  • Monitoring personnel entering the facility to ensure they are authorized and display proper identification.
  • Accomplish required annual training and maintain certificates, as appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Clearance: Must be able to obtain/maintain a minimum of a SECRET Government Security Clearance and advanced security checks.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite is required.
  • Must have a professional attitude and appearance.

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
