Job Description
We are seeking a Resource Manager to support recruiting efforts for a stable, long-term contract at WPAFB in Dayton, Ohio. This individual will play a critical role in talent acquisition, working closely with recruiters, hiring managers, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to evaluate candidates, coordinate interviews, and define job competencies for open positions and proposal efforts.
The candidate will also complement the already existing corporate recruiting and human resource functions requiring them to interact with senior leadership for a Wright Patterson Air Force Base contract. The position is at the customer site with some level of effort required at corporate to coordinate/liaison with the corporate staff. The candidate will interface directly with functional support personnel (onsite and corporate) to identify resource needs for growing staff and manage onboarding and training programs. Ideal candidate would be experienced human resources professional or recruiter seeking a transition into business operations.
This position requires on-site at WPAFB and is not eligible for remote or hybrid work arrangements.

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Review resumes submitted by recruiters to assess candidate qualifications.
- Coordinate interview workflows with hiring managers, both onsite and via Microsoft Teams.
- Collaborate with technical SMEs and hiring managers to define job requirements and competencies.
- Provide guidance on talent acquisition strategies to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Maintain recruitment documentation and track hiring progress.
- Assist with staffing requirements for current and future contract opportunities.
- Identify resource needs (IT, facilities, security, travel) and coordinate with functional staff as appropriate
- Main point of contact for onboarding of new hires
- Manage technical training program for workforce
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Experience with technical recruiting in a corporate or third-party recruiting environment, human resources, or training and operations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline or a bachelor’s degree in business or related field
- Recruiting experience in the Federal/DoD sector
- Must be able to do technical interviews with candidates to determine fit for the role
- CLEARANCE: Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance
- Must be able to obtain and maintain and TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks
