We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Proposal Manager to join our team to work hybrid out of either our Dayton OH, NOVA, or Huntsville AL locations.  The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of proposal development, including pre-proposal planning activities, kick-off meetings, value proposition conveyance, theme development, schedule management, action/issue tracking, proposal structure, compliance oversight, writing instructions and team guidance, review team coordination, and production oversight. The Proposal Manager will also be responsible for developing and maintaining proposal management-related artifacts for each opportunity, including kickoff materials, requirements-based master outline and compliance matrix, schedule, annotated outlines, writing instructions and templates, daily stand-up agenda, proposal team contact list, action items, and color team review briefings.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

•    Manage all aspects of proposal development, including pre-proposal planning activities, kick-off meetings, value proposition conveyance, theme development, schedule management, action/issue tracking, proposal structure, compliance oversight, writing instructions and team guidance, review team coordination, and production oversight. 
•    Develop and maintain proposal management-related artifacts for each opportunity, including kickoff materials, requirements-based master outline and compliance matrix, schedule, annotated outlines, writing instructions and templates, daily stand-up agenda, proposal team contact list, action items, and color team review briefings. 
•    Work closely with proposal team members to ensure that all proposal requirements are met and that the proposal is completed on time and within budget. 
•    Provide guidance and support to proposal team members throughout the proposal development process. 
•    Ensure that all proposal materials are of the highest quality and meet all requirements. 
•    Coordinate with other departments and stakeholders as necessary to ensure that all proposal materials are accurate and complete. 
•    Manage the proposal review process, including coordinating review team meetings and ensuring that all review comments are addressed.
•    Ensure that all proposal materials are produced in a timely and professional manner. 
•    Maintain a high level of knowledge and expertise in proposal development best practices and industry trends.
 

Requirements: I have already done that or have it!

•    6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
• Experience in proposal management, including continuous experience leading large $100M+ opportunities.
 • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment. 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat. 
•  Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle pressure.
 

Preferred: Bonus Points For…

•    Ability to coordinate off-site subcontractors and proposal team
•    Familiarity with the use of proposal collaboration tools
•    Experience with the FEDSIM acquisition process
 

Physical Requirements

Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
