Job Description

The SAOC Division is seeking a Senior PM SME position that is an expert on open mission systems and system architecture.  The position would act as a senior enterprise advisor that is able to provide strategic, technical, and operational guidance on complex mission system efforts to include mission system architecture and software development.  This SME will bridge the gap between the technical teams and senior leadership at the enterprise level to ensure program execution while identifying risks, issues, and opportunities to recommend mitigation strategies.    This position will also be used to assist analyses of systems engineering, Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and CDRL deliverables. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program. Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion. Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors. Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program. Program may require new technologies. Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs. Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance. Develops new business or expands services with the customer. Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications. Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 8 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 6 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 12 years relevant progressive experience.
  • 15+ years of commercial or Government PM experience in DoD programs.
  • Previous SAOC Program Management Experience
  • Active Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements

Job performance may require working in an industrial or shipboard environment. Normally not required to lift more than 40 pounds higher than three feet above feet/floor level.
