HII-Mission Technologies is in search of a driven Senior Acquisition Logistician to join our team in Crane, IN. The position entails offering assistance to the program in the planning, management, and coordination of comprehensive logistics support throughout the cradle-to-grave life cycle.

Responsibilities: I want to and can do that!

  • Developing and preparing reports such as: Life Cycle Support Plan (LCSP), Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA), Core Logistics Assessment (CLA), Core Depot Assessment (CDA), Diminishing manufacturing sources and material shortages (DMSMS), Depot Source of Repair (DSOR) Analysis, and Provisioning.
  • Creating, reviewing and updating logistics documentation in support of PM PNT acquisition and milestone activities such as: Type Classification, Material Release, Fielding, and Transfer; Post-Production Support Plan, Item Unique Identification Plan, Post-fielding support analysis (PFSA), and Develop basis of issue plan feeder data (BOIPFD).
  • Conduct maintenance assessments Depot-level maintenance and repair analysis and aid in development of Equipment publications (to include TMs, ETMs), maintenance allocation chart (MAC), repair parts and special tools list (RPSTL), System Demilitarization (DEMIL) and Disposal Plan.; Participate and coordinate Logistics Demonstrations and Maintainability Demonstration.
  • Participating in Integrated Product Teams, developing product support initiatives. This includes collecting, reviewing, updating, and providing logistics and sustainment documentation to PM leadership and Government. 
  • Provide logistical support of New Equipment Training Plan (NETP) and Material Fielding Plan (MFP).
  • Prepares, staffs and reviews correspondence, issues papers and various articles related to PEO/PM logistics matters. Furnishes information and recommendations in response to both internal and external inquires. Prepares and delivers detailed briefings and informational papers on various logistics aspects.
  • Plans with the PM and Government, fielding schedules and plans, and supporting models. Maintains an understanding of the program with emphasis on cost, schedule, and performance. Attend PM business reviews and other meetings that are of critical importance in keeping abreast of program issues.

What you must have:

•    10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience.
•    Experience developing advanced concepts, techniques, and standards. Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories. 
•    Viewed as expert in field within the corporation with regard to Acquisition Logistics.
•    Must possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels of management and individual contributors, including experience using Microsoft Office Suite products such as PowerPoint and Excel, to create polished and professional documents, briefings, and reports.
•    Ability to travel as required.
•    Ability to obtain Security Clearance
 

Preferred: Bonus Points For

  • Self-starter with experience managing multiple projects performing diverse technical tasks to support various CONUS and/or OCONUS locations.
  • Prior experience in supporting teams, working independently and prioritizing regarding complex technical or programmatic issues is preferred.
  • DAU Life Cycle Logistics certification III & 80 hours continued learning every 2 years per DoDI 50000.66
