Summary

HII, Mission Technologies is seeking a Quality Control Analyst who will support a critical national defense program. Our ideal candidate will have 5 years of experience and a proven track record of excellence in quality assurance and technical expertise.

What you will do

  • Lead the development and implementation of sophisticated testing and inspection protocols.
  • Analyze complex technical drawings and contribute expert insights to test specimen design.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality audits and maintain rigorous compliance standards.
  • Provide strategic guidance to operational teams on quality control best practices.
  • Spearhead continuous improvement initiatives and develop comprehensive quality control documentation 

What we are looking for

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in CAD systems.
  • Strong background in engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
  • Expertise in technical documentation and shop drawing preparation.
  • In-depth knowledge of material specifications and fabrication methods.
  • Clearance: An active SECRET security clearance required.

Physical Requirements

  • May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
  • Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
