Who We Are
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an Integrated Logistics (ILS) Specialist to be part of the team supporting. the upcoming Logistics, ISR, and Next-Gen Technology (LOGIX) Task Order (TO).
This role will work out of either are Crane, IN or Jacksonville, FL location. The ILS Specialist plans, implements, and manages logistics operations to ensure the readiness and sustainment of assigned military systems and equipment. The LOGIX TO will support the JADC2 goal to deliver a relevant information advantage with ISR operations and logistics support. To support continued progress and sustainment of the JADC2 Strategy, the LOGIX TO support the accelerated application of technological solutions by analyzing new and emerging technologies for DIU-NSIN Mission Partner systems, technologies, capabilities, platforms, equipment, and associated subordinate and supporting systems used to execute their missions.
In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders an our cross functional teams to coordinate logistics activities, analyze supply chain efficiency and maintain equipment life-cycle management. The ideal candidate has a solid background in logistics management, supply chain operations and military equipment support.
What You Will Do
- Logistics Planning & Coordination - Develop and execute integrated logistic support plans IAW with DoD policies; Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.; forecast logistics needs and proactively address potential bottlenecks to maintain operational readiness.
- Inventory and Asset Management – Monitor inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of materials, parts and equipment; Implement best practices for inventory control and asset tracking ensuring accurate reporting and documentation.
- Oversees transportation logistics, including freight, shipping, and receiving to meet mission requirements; Resolve all issues in a timely manger to ensure the time and secure delivery of goods and services.
- Collaborate with the HII team to optimize the availability of critical components for the mission partner.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with required regulations, federal policies, and security protocols; Identify and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, including supply chain disruptions, delays and quality control issues.
What We Are Looking For
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- 3 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain manager, preferably with DOD or government contracting experience.
- Clearance: Ability to maintain a SECRET clearance
Preferred: Bonus Points For...
- Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Certification in logistics, supply chain management, or project management.
- Experience with logistics management system used by DOD such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or SAP.
- Prior military or government experience in logistics or supply chain management.
- Clearance: Possess and maintains a SECRET clearance.
