This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. All-Domain Operations comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations.

Summary

HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to design, implement, and manage cloud solutions that align with our organization's strategic goals. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, security, and optimization, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. The ideal candidate will work on-site in Crane, IN, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and efficiency in cloud computing.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and implement cloud architecture strategies that support business objectives.
  • Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
  • Oversee cloud adoption, migration, and optimization processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and security best practices.
  • Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to enhance cloud capabilities.
  • Monitor cloud performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize resources.
  • Stay updated on emerging cloud technologies and trends.

What We Are Looking For

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in cloud architecture, deployment, and management.
  • Expertise in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Strong knowledge of networking, security, and automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work on-site in Crane, IN and collaborate effectively with teams.
  • Clearance: Must possess and maintain a Top Secret clearance with SCI elgibility. 

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Professional Cloud Architect.
