Summary
HII, Mission Technologies has needs for Information Assurance (IA) professionals with 0-5 years of experience supporing a government program located in Crane, IN.
In this role, you will provide strategic oversight of complex IA programs, conduct threat assessment and risk mitigation, and confirm compliance and accreditation processes are adhered to.
What you will do
- Oversee, evaluate, and support the documentation, validation, and accreditation processes necessary to ensure new and existing information technology (IT) systems meet the organization’s information assurance (IA) and security requirements.
- Assess and mitigate system security threats and risks throughout the program life cycle.
- Validate system security requirements definition and analysis.
- Establish system security designs.
- Implement security designs in hardware, software, data, and procedures.
- Verify security requirements; performs system certification and accreditation planning and testing and liaison activities.
- Support secure systems operations and maintenance.
What we are looking for
- Associate Degree from an accredited University or CNSSI 4011 Certificate (Equivalent military training qualifications: NEC 2791 (A-150-1980 or K-150-2115) or IP BASIC (CIN: J-3B-0440) or DOD Service equivalent)
- 0-5 years of experience in Information Assurance and cybersecurity.
- Current A+ (CE), Network + (CE), or SSCP certification is required.
- Must maintain a minimum of 40 continuing education hours per year.
- Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance.
Physical Requirements
- May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment.
- Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
