Who We Are

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Analyst to join our Navy Integrated Training Environment (NITE) team. The NITE team is dedicated to providing cutting-edge Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) training solutions for the U.S. Navy and Joint forces, ensuring our warfighters are prepared for the complex, all-domain conflicts of the future.

 

The successful candidate will provide essential operational, technical, and analytical support for the planning, execution, and assessment of complex Navy and Joint training exercises, with a focus on integrating LVC environments.

What You Will Do

  • Plan, brief, conduct and debrief military training exercises.
  • Recognize tactically significant events and enter into Range Information Management System
  • Utilize recorded data to create time critical exercise debrief products.
  • Assist Exercise Coordinator in planning military training exercises and scenarios.
  • Efficiently integrate multiple, electronic sources of data, e.g. video, audio, electronic snapshots, into a single digital file for face-to-face or remote exercise debrief.
  • Conduct face-to-face briefs and debriefs of large groups of personnel.
  • Operate and communicate via VHF, UHF and other tactical voice and electronic systems.
  • Perform operations on San Clemente Island and will be exposed to and must be tolerant of prolonged exposure of dust.
  • Lift and operate a system weighing approximately 45 pounds and operate this system in an underway environment.
  • Operate MANPADS and other EW systems onboard various range support boats.

What You Must Have

  • 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.
  • Candidate must have a Bachelors degree in Science/Bachelor of Arts in Engineering or Management;
  • Candidate must possess a Proven Military Officer Sub-Specialist designation in one or more of the following warfare areas: Air and Missile Warfare (AMW), Undersea Warfare (USW), Mine Warfare (MIW), Strike Warfare (STW), Surface Warfare (SUW), or Anti-Submarine Warfare (AW).
  • Candidate must have demonstrated operational experience in Military Electronic Warfare (EW) and/or Electronic Intelligence (ELINT).
  • Candidate must hold a Navy Enlisted Classification (NEC) specifically in Electronic Warfare (EW) and/or Information Operations (IO).
  • Candidate must have experience analyzing exercise operations, sensors, tactics, and weapons across a range of naval warfare domains, including Air and Missile Warfare (AMW), Undersea Warfare (USW), Mine Warfare (MIW), Strike Warfare (STW), Surface Warfare (SUW), Anti-Submarine Warfare (AW), and/or Electronic Warfare/Cryptology (EW/CRY).
  • Candidate must have experience in Navy EW/CRY, AMW, USW, MIW, STW, SUW, and/or AW operations, including exercise scheduling, requirements and resource analysis, planning, execution, data acquisition and support documentation.
  • Candidate must have experience operating technical systems, preparing analytical reports, and delivering data-driven presentations to senior Navy personnel and large fleet groups (10-30), including Commanding Officers and operational teams.
  • Candidate must possess a working knowledge of Navy operational and administrative procedures and directives.
  • Candidate must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim Security Clearance (or transfer) in a timely manner, and maintain a US Government (DoD) Secret Clearance for this position on the SCORE Contract.
  • Candidate Must be willing and able to travel frequently (up to 30%) to support mission requirements and training events.
  • Candidate must have scheduling flexibility and the ability to perform shift work across all 24 hours of the day (e.g., nights, weekends, or rotating shifts) to support 24/7 mission operations.

Bonus Points For Having!

  • Active Secret Security Clearance
  • Candidate with SIGINT or Electronic Signals Database Manager background.
  • Familiarity with Signal Analysis databases.
  • Five (5) years’ experience in EW/CRY systems to include radar, over the horizon, satellite, in air or other tracking systems; ESM, ECM, noise jamming, threat radar simulators, outboard systems, or electronic warfare response monitors would be desirable.

Physical Requirements

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate common business machines. Maximum lifting required is approximately 40 pounds from floor to three feet in height.
