Job Description
Join the team at HII Mission Technologies as a NORTHCOM Operations Support Training Analyst 4 (Mission Assurance 4) and play a vital role in preparing U.S. forces for combat deployments and contingency operations worldwide. You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of training missions, including CTCs, home station training, and integration of interagency entities into training scenarios. As a key member of the team, you'll provide requirements analysis, assessments, and development of a globally integrated training scenario, as well as pre-deployment analysis for U.S. forces. Essential Job Responsibilities
Looking for an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in military command and control, electronic warfare, weapon systems, and more? Join our team and become a key player in analyzing and providing recommendations on a range of disciplines, including Military Tactics Techniques and Procedures (MTTP), force planning, and training exercises. As a valued team member, you'll collaborate with user community representatives throughout all phases of development to ensure requirements are clearly defined, prioritized, and alternative solutions are explored. You'll also analyze the conduct and results of operational user training, military maneuvers, and simulated wartime operations to maintain the capabilities of a force.
As a member of our team, you'll also have the opportunity to compare, analyze, and evaluate program designs and alternatives, and apply emerging doctrine and tactics to system design and development. Whether through formal doctrinal changes or Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWEs), Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs), or Force XXI activities, you'll stay up-to-date on the latest developments and assess their impact on user requirements and doctrine. You'll prepare reports and briefs summarizing support requirements, deficiencies, and investments for various programs and systems, ensuring that our team is always well-informed and ready to make the best decisions. Minimum Qualifications
9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
- Expertise required in planning, strategy, and policy development at major command level (ie. Service Staff; the Joint Staff, numbered Air Force Command, Naval Fleet etc. with Combatant Command Staff experience preferred).
- Experience required in training, large force exercises, wargames, and operations with proficiency in integration of interagency entities into training scenarios.
- Strategic and Operational level knowledge required in planning homeland defense, operations to counter and deter threats and threat networks, training, exercise deployment and execution, analysis, and sharing of lessons learned.
- Familiarity required with the roles of DoD organizations at the strategic through operational levels of warfighting activities.
- Active TS/SCI Required
Preferred Requirements
- Extensive experience at a Major Command HQs Staff
- Experience with Task Management Tool or similar collaborative staff / action officer application.

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
