We are currently seeking a Logistics Support Specialist will be responsible for order, receipt, storage, issue and shipping of Contractor Acquired Material, Government Furnished Material, and Company Tools according to procedures for task assigned. The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining the official documentation and issue files for HII - Global Security Group, the customer, and government property for task assigned. Per Diem available based on location when on travel, travel and lodging expenses are covered by the company.

What You Must Have

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.

Must be able to obtain and maintain base credentials (DBIDS) and be a US Citizen.

Must have experience and understanding/knowledge of shipping and receiving of material and supplies, and well as Government Furnished Material, and Customer acquired material.

Must have experience and understanding of how hazmat items are stored, shipped, disposed of.

Must have a demonstrated knowledge of tools as they relate to inventory, issue and storage as well as maintenance.

Must have strong computer skills, including demonstrable experience with data entry, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years additional education and/or related experience.

Prefer Candidates with an Active Security Clearance.

Knowledge of Government and Contractor Acquired Material as it relates to inventory, issue and storage.

Experience in planning, drawing material kitting, and preparation for installation tasking.

Experience with DLA system and DRMO processing systems.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, transport heavy equipment and climb ladders.
