Job Description
This is a contingent requistion to support the proposal requirements.
HII is seeking a Mgr IT Project Management 2 for a USG customer in the Northern Virginia area.
*This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Lead a team of capable IT professionals tasked with management of customer LAN, WAN, and cloud solutions and the development of a forward looking IT roadmap. Oversee the maintenance of both hardware and software, support infrastructure installation efforts, and lead network design and ATO activities.
Serve as the lead for IT Network, Installation, Operations, and Infrastructure efforts in support of a government customer. These activities include Tier 1 - 4 administartive support, configuration management and disaster recovery planning, technology focused strategic roadmpa development, architecture design, ATO processing, and site specific operations support.
Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
- 6 years of demonstrated experience within the last 10 years on providing Tier-2 or Tier-3 level O&M support for an on-premise or cloud based Windows and Linux environment
- 2 years demonstrated experience leading a team of IT professionals
- 2 years of experience within the last 5 years in understanding the fundamentals of networking technologies and how to apply them in an IT environment
- 2 years of experience within the last 5 years in applying INFOSEC principles to an IT environment
- 2 years demonstrated experience within the last 10 years in participating in software development lifecycle activities
- 2 years experience within the last 10 years in using ITIL framework principles in an IT environment or similiar scope
Preferred Requirements
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
- 15 years of demonstrated experience within the last 20 years on providing Tier-2 or Tier-3 level O&M support for an on-premise or cloud based Windows and Linux environment
- 3 years demonstrated experience within the last 15 years in IT service design/delivery using ITIL framework principles in an IT environment
- Experience with Azure, VMWare, Dell Unity, and other enterprise software solutions and technologies
- 1 year demonstrated in enterprise storage solutions
- 1 year experience in Systems Mapping
- 1 year experience in buidling Strategic Maps
- 1 year experience in architecting an enterprise Windows environment
- 1 year experience in architecting a Linux environment
