This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Job Description

This is a contingent requistion to support the proposal requirements.   

 

HII is seeking a Logistics Engineering Manager for a USG customer in the Northern Virginia area.  

 

*This role is contingent upon being awarded the contract.  

Essential Job Responsibilities

Maintain a managed repository of equipment and systems in support of customer operations within a global equipment database.  Provide relevant operational expertise to support the customer's decision making when selecting equipment.  

Minimum Qualifications

  • 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
  • 4 years of recent experience tracking equipment and with asset management databases 
  • 4 years of experience with direct customer engagement and experience providing recommendations and insight, as well as a proven track record of successful customer service 
  • 3 years of relevant technical operations experience 
  • 2 years of experience with cable writing using USG systems 
  • Must have an active TS/SCI with Full Scope Poly clearance 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implementing them through USG databases and systems 
  • Experience with equipment and configuration management, and a demonstrated track record of implementing procedures and maintaining precise documentation 
  • Creativity to address non-standard problem sets 
  • Ability to operate independently and at a fast-pace 

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in a shipboard environment. Must be able to lift, carry, and transport heavy equipment.
