Who We Are:

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a Recruiting Coordinator to join the team! Combining your expertise of administrative processes and hands-on customer service experience with your understanding of company recruiting procedures, you will focus on supporting a speedy time to fill, candidate communications and coordination, and ensure recruiting business processes are followed accurately for every requisition, every time. You’ll propel recruitment efforts by scheduling interviews, screening requisitions, and providing regular reports and metrics on hiring activity to the Talent Acquisition leadership team.  You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Talent Acquisition Operations.

 

As a Recruiting Coordinator, responsibilities include working within the MyHR Recruiting Module and partnering with Recruiters to create an excellent candidate experience by increasing the speed we can hire candidates and complete the “back-end” of the recruiting process.  Responsible for interacting with Recruiters, Hiring Managers, HR Business Partners, HR Services and applicants, to positively impact candidate experience and internal customer service. This role will work at our local Bremerton, WA office under a hybrid work schedule.

What You Will Do:

This position will perform a variety of administrative duties, as assigned by the manager, to support the Talent Acquisition team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Scheduling interviews.
  • Performing the initial screening of candidates to support Recruiter speed.
  • Providing Recruiting Coordinator support to Recruiters, as assigned.
  • Creating offer letters using the Applicant Tracking System automated and templated process.
  • Updating spreadsheets used to track new hires, including being responsible for reviewing those reports and recognizing and reporting discrepancies and concerns which may disrupt the recruiting process.
  • Maintaining both manual and automated personnel records; collect and compile sensitive and confidential personnel statistics and prepare reports.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement by recognizing patterns and recommending solutions.
  • Coordination of candidate start dates, ordering I-9, and scheduling onboarding.
  • Understand the procedural steps required to hire a candidate throughout the life cycle of the recruitment process.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of New Hire activity.
  • Serve as a “back-up” for all Recruiting Coordinator team members by being cross-trained.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

What We're Looking For:

  • High School diploma, and 2 years additional education or relevant experience.
  • Must have experience creating and maintaining reports.
  • Advanced MS Office skills, including Excel.
  • Must possess excellent communication and organization skills.
  • Must have demonstrated experience performing in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must have had previous experience in a role requiring strong attention to detail.
  • Must be able to demonstrate strong time-management skills.
  • Must have previous customer service experience.
  • Ability to thrive in an administrative position working with geographically dispersed team.
  • 0-10% travel required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with SuccessFactors Recruiting and Onboarding modules.
  • Prior Human Resources experience.
  • Experience processing background checks.
  • Creative problem-solving.
