Who We Are

HII–Mission Technologies Division is seeking multiple skilled Information Technology Specialists to join our team at Beale AFB, California, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping mission success for the Department of Defense. In this role, you will help build, secure, and sustain the digital backbone that enables critical operations, ensuring that complex systems remain reliable, resilient, and mission‑ready. Your expertise will directly support high‑priority defense initiatives, empowering warfighters with the technology and information they need to operate with confidence and precision.

What You Will Do

The Information Technology Specialist is primarily responsible for installation, maintenance, upgrades, and security compliance of classified and unclassified information technology as well as to ensure up to 24/7/365 uninterrupted operations in support of missions. Expect to be engaged in all aspects of supporting and administering a mixed Windows and UNIX server and desktop environment, with a variety of different storage technologies/methodologies, in addition to assisting the IT Lead in the design, development, fielding, and modifications to future systems/architectures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to maintain Windows and UNIX operating systems, associated technologies, and interoperability
  • Ability to clearly communicate and articulate complex ideas, processes, and technical data in written, graphical, and verbal mediums to technical and non-technical audiences
  • DoD 8570.01-M certification, including Security+ CE, SSCP, or GSEC
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • Must obtain and maintain a valid US Passport

Multiple levels available: 

  • Level 2 - 3 years relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 1 year of relevant experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience
  • Level 3 - 5 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 3 years of experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience
  • Level 4 - 10 years of relevant experience with bachelor's in related field; 8 years of relevant experience with master's in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years of relevant experience

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Experience with network administration, and configuring and managing enterprise grade hardware and networks
  • Experience with USAF cybersecurity policy and written guidance
  • Experience with network and IT program management
  • Cisco and Juniper networking equipment, network monitoring and logging tools
  • Experience with administering US Air Force or DoD computers
  • Possession of excellent hardware and software troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
  • CCNA or VCP certification
  • Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Certified IT Professional, or Server Administrator certification, including 2008

Physical Requirements

Adequate visual acuity and manual dexterity for meeting the requirements of the Systems Analyst discipline.
