HII Mission Technologies is currently seeking an Image Quality (IQ) / Image Access Solutions (IAS) Expert to support our work at Beale AFB, CA. The U‑2 enterprise relies on precise, high‑fidelity imagery products to drive intelligence collection, mission planning, and national‑level analysis. Your expertise ensures that Electro‑Optical, Infrared, Multi‑Spectral, Hyper‑Spectral, and SAR imagery meets the highest standards of accuracy, clarity, and exploitation readiness.
What This Role Offers -

What You Will Do:
Imagery Quality Assessment & Analysis
- Evaluate EO/IR, Multi‑Spectral, Hyper‑Spectral, SAR, and tactical film imagery for quality, clarity, and mission suitability
- Conduct detailed imagery analysis to identify anomalies, degradation, or sensor‑related issues
- Provide recommendations to improve imagery collection, processing, and exploitation
Image Access Solutions (IAS) Support
- Support the development, refinement, and troubleshooting of IAS workflows
- Ensure imagery products are accessible, discoverable, and properly formatted for exploitation systems
- Coordinate with MPC and exploitation teams to resolve access or dissemination issues
Exploitation & Tradecraft Expertise
- Apply deep knowledge of exploitation tools, software, and methodologies
- Support analysts in leveraging multi‑spectral and hyper‑spectral data
- Provide guidance on best practices for imagery exploitation and product generation
Sensor Performance & Collection Integration
- Assess imagery output to help validate sensor performance and collection strategies
- Provide feedback to mission planners and sensor SMEs on collection optimization
- Support integration of new or upgraded sensors into existing exploitation workflows
Training, Documentation & Collaboration
- Assist in developing or updating imagery‑related SOPs, guides, and training materials
- Share expertise with analysts and mission partners to enhance exploitation proficiency
- Participate in meetings, reviews, and technical exchanges related to imagery quality and access
What We're Looking For:
- 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
- Significant experience with EO/IR imagery, including Multi‑Spectral and Hyper‑Spectral
- Experience with Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imagery
- Experience with tactical imagery analysis, including Optical Bar Camera (OBC) film
- Formal imagery analysis training (e.g., Geospatial Intelligence Training Program or equivalent)
- Knowledge of imagery exploitation software and exploitation functionalities
- Understanding of the intelligence collection process and multi‑spectral exploitation
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Must be able to obtain a US Passport
Preferred Experience:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in a related field
- Experience with High‑Altitude ISR (HAISR) airborne platforms
- Five years of experience with EO/IR, MS/HS, SAR, and tactical imagery analysis (including OBC film)
