Position Overview:

 

As a Senior RF Wireless Engineer, you take on challenging RF Engineering assignments that may include leading the planning, organization, and execution of independent technical projects. You will work directly with senior technical personnel and project managers to develop sophisticated RF and microwave systems, including antenna design, frequency synthesizers, transmitters, and receivers. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of wireless communications while supporting critical national security initiatives.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Lead project teams in developing technical products using advanced RF concepts and methodologies. 
  • Design, develop, and test radio frequency (RF) and microwave systems architecture, components, circuits, and products 
  • Plan and execute technical activities on complex projects with limited supervision.
  • Identify and document project functional requirements and organize project tasks.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineering staff.
  • Prepare and deliver technical reports, formal briefings, and presentations to all levels of personnel.
  • Lead technical discussions and negotiations with project stakeholders. 
  • Contribute to proposal development efforts and inter-organizational technical activities. 
  • Ensure compliance with quality and security procedures. 
  • Recommend improvements to existing systems and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 3 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 0 years experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 9 years relevant experience.
  • Deep understanding of RF engineering principles, methods, and techniques.
  • Strong command of antenna design, RF systems, and microwave technology.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to lead technical teams and mentor junior engineers.
  • Experience with RF design and simulation tools.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills  

Physical Requirements

  • May require working in an office, industrial, or laboratory environment.
  • Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
