Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is looking for a Systems Engineer to take on a high-visibility role, working hand-in-hand with our customer to support cybersecurity supply chain analysis. Assist in providing guidance across the IC on identifying and mitigating cybersecurity risk in the national security supply chain. Represent the client at various level collaborating industry and government counterparts. 

Essential Job Responsibilities

Perform analyses of architectures and provide technical guidance in the development of functional requirements.

Provide technical guidance on Enterprise systems engineering and architecture concepts and principles.

Evaluate risk in technologies and processes for cybersecurity related products and services

Communicate with IC and DoD partners on needs and risks

Remote telework allowed

Preferred Requirements


Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.

Experience with DoD, IC, and other federal government (e.g., NIST) policy, directives, and instructions relevant to Cybersecurity (CS) strategic planning and direction.

Experience reviewing/editing/developing CS Standards within international standards organizations (e.g., IETF, TCG, OASIS.

Minimum Qualifications

15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Experience with Supply Chain Risk Management concepts

Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance with Poly required

Physical Requirements

Office, industrial, or shipboard environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances. Lifting and moving materials may be required.
