HII-Technical Solutions Division (TSD) is looking to hire an Operations Research Analyst in their Annapolis Junction, MD office.


This position requires an SME/analyst in data science to research data supporting the behavior analysis' vision for future
operations, and demonstrate innovative capabilities and technologies using in house and/or industry solutions to
achieve objectives.  The contract supports a Global Cybersecurity analyst and operations mission.

Essential Job Responsibilities

Analyzes actual and predictable interacting operational activities of business to obtain a quantitative, rational basis for decision making through the application of logic and scientific or economic disciplines and techniques. Devises modeling and measuring techniques; utilizes mathematics, statistical methods, engineering methods, operational mathematics techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.), and other principles and laws of scientific and economic disciplines.


The candidate will:

  • Analyze and document cyber‐related cases with operational and situational awareness scenarios to display and represent existing data, systems, and workflows.
  • Analyze problem sets and deliver system alternatives to present cyber events and the impact on operational workflows
  • Analyze and deliver systems visualization and emulation alternatives to optimize the use of cyber analytics as a function of information assurance and cyber operations.
  • Identify, design, prototype data models and identify integration shortfalls.
  • Identify areas for improved analytics with the current data using innovative ideas and new algorithms.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 9+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Develop understanding of the current and future efforts of CLEARVISION and provide expertise in how the data is used within the current and new system
  • Understand tool development, including knowledge of how to test, correct, and update code as user needs
  • Clearance:  Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI w Poly
