Job Description
HII, Mission Technologies is on the lookout for a talented Training Representative to join our dynamic team supporting a government security organization. This group plays a vital role in safeguarding our nation's most critical assets through enterprise risk management, cutting-edge innovation, and a commitment to mission excellence and customer service.
As a Training Representative, you will collaborate with a team dedicated to crafting impactful eLearning content that helps users confidently navigate new technical systems and features. While you will contribute to a variety of learning formats—including instructor-led sessions, webinars, and video trainings—your primary focus will be on developing engaging online content.
This role offers a hybrid schedule, an opportunity to support a high-impact mission, and a creative, collaborative team environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to assess learner needs and inform instructional design strategies
- Design and develop engaging eLearning courses and interactive activities
- Deliver training content across multiple formats—including online modules, instructor-led sessions, webinars, and videos—to accommodate diverse learning styles
- Write clear, compelling instructional copy, including text, audio narration, and video scripts
- Apply adult learning principles and current best practices to enhance course effectiveness and learner engagement
- Create assessments (e.g., quizzes, tests) to measure learner comprehension and course impact
- Manage eLearning projects from planning through production, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality content
- Maintain organized project documentation and course files for easy access and version control
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support training initiatives and team goals
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- Formal education or certification in instructional design, training development, learning technologies, or a closely related field
- Proven ability to design training programs that integrate multiple delivery methods (e.g., eLearning, instructor-led, blended learning) and meet Section 508 accessibility standards
- Hands-on experience with eLearning platforms such as Learning Management Systems (LMS), Adobe Captivate, and Lectora
- Strong understanding of the ADDIE model and experience managing the full training development lifecycle—from analysis and design to implementation and evaluation
- Proficiency in graphic design using Adobe Creative Suite tools, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Familiarity with Department of Defense (DoD) environments, protocols, and training requirements
- IAT Level 2 (or higher) compliance/certification required (CCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, and/or SSCP)
- Must be compfortable in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality
