Summary

 

We are seeking a System Engineer to provide general systems engineering support, including research, collaboration, authoring and maintaining standardized specifications. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching and reconciling disparate industry trends and standards, security vulnerabilities, risks, and technical integration.

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide general systems engineering support, including research, collaboration, authoring and maintaining standardized specifications
  • Research and reconcile disparate industry trends and standards, security vulnerabilities, risks, and technical integration
  • Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to identify system requirements and develop specifications
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system designs, requirements, and specifications
  • Provide technical guidance and support to other team members
  • Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of systems
     

Minimum Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline and at least 15 years of systems engineering experience. 
  • A Master’s or PhD Degree in a qualifying discipline may be substituted for two years of experience. 
  • A High School Diploma or GED plus 19 years of systems engineering experience would also be acceptable. #LI-SG1


Clearance:  Must possess an active TS/SCI/Polygraph for consideration

 

 

Preferred Requirements

 

  • Experience in applying systems engineering and integration support.
  • Knowledge of SE Best practices and innovative approaches to applying those practices in a fast-paced ongoing development environment.
  • Solid application of SE throughout the lifecycle of a development effort.
  • Experience in research and analysis of industry trends, standards, and security vulnerabilities
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
