Job Description
HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Project Support Analyst with a strong foundation in project coordination and technical documentation. The ideal applicant will thrive in a fast-paced environment while contributing to project planning and supporting day-to-day opera-tions. Strong writing skills are essential for producing clear, accurate technical documenta-tion, reports, and process guides.
Position offers a hybrid schedule and requires onsite attendance in Annapolis Junction, MD.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Provide direct support to senior leadership in managing contract and program-level operations, ensuring timely and effective delivery of contractual requirements.
- Contribute to life cycle support activities, including planning, execution, and perfor-mance tracking across program phases.
- Conduct data analysis to capture key metrics, monitor service levels, and identify gaps in processes and performance.
- Support procurement workflows and help coordinate integrated operational pro-cesses.
- Assist in distributing information, developing programs, improving services, and mit-igating risks through targeted task support.
- Prepare documentation such as project status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing data trends, and offering actionable recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 1 year relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
- At least 3 years of experience supporting government projects or programs, working with budgets, schedules, administrative support of programs
- Experience with federal procurement processes, including drafting statements of work (SOW), managing deliverables, and coordinating with Contracting Officer Rep-resentatives (CORs).
- Ability to collect, analyze, and present program data to assess effectiveness, identify gaps, and recommend improvements.
- Proficient in preparing reports, briefings, SOPs, and other documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Demonstrated advanced expertise in Microsoft Office Suite—including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams—for document creation, data analysis, communication, and collaboration.
- Skilled in using SharePoint for content management and workflow coordination.
- Experienced with Costpoint for financial tracking, reporting, and project accounting within government contracting environments.
- Clearance: Active SECRET security clearance required.
Physical Requirements
- Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
