Job Description
Mission Technologies, a division of Huntington Ingalls Industries, has a great opportunity for an Industrial Security Analyst 2 to assist with the security administration and enforcement of the security plan at a contract government site located in Altoona, FL in support of the NITE Contract and the Pincastle Range Complex (PRC) Live Bombing Tactical Training Range. In this position you will carry out the security measures necessary for implementing requirements of government security regulations, security policies and procedures. Manages all aspects of security activities including document control, visitor control, and personnel securities. Provides guidance and instructions to all employees to ensure any event, circumstance or at that could be considered a breach of security is reported immediately. Reports directly to the PRC Contract Site Manager.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Primary duties include the execution of the daily security program requirements to include verification of visitor's proper identification, active request on file, identify visitors intent to gain access, and fill out the visitor log with required information. Grants access control only for first time visitors. Issues visitor badges based on required access and takes a daily inventory at each shift change. Ensures visitors receive a Range Safety Brief and if required a Hand Held radio. Position is also responsible for Complex wide ground control safety.
Minimum Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- 
- 
Bachelor's degree + 3 years of relevant experience OR 
- 
Master's degree + 1 year of relevant experience OR 
- 
High School Diploma + 7 years of relevant experience 
 
- 
Security Compliance Knowledge & Operational Skills:
- Exceptional organizational and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and adapt to evolving security needs
- Demonstrated experience in physical security enforcement and administrative procedures
- Working knowledge of DoD and federal security regulations (e.g., NISPOM, SECNAVINST) with experience in facility security tasks including access control, classified material handling, and routine security checks
- Ability to perform industrial security duties such as briefings, incident response, and coordination with government entities and site leadership
Security Clearance
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Current or active DoD secret clearance required (must maintain throughout employment)
Preferred Requirements
- Knowledge and experience with the Defense Information for Security System (DISS) activity including  processing and maintaining personnel security clearances and visit requests. 
- Technically savvy and proficient with all Microsoft products
- Proficient in Maximo
