Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Program Manager to support our work with the U.S. Army Research Laboratory in Adelphi, MD. As the organizational expert you will work closely with a team of engineers, designers, and other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required specifications. This role will be critical to the organization and will aid in developing & delivering cutting-edge technologies, new concepts, techniques, standards, and solutions to protect national security.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for the profit and loss of a large complex program.
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Responsible for serving multiple customers requiring developing and managing plans across several subcontractors.
- Responsible for overseeing a program contained at one primary geographic location however covering remote locations and multiple business functions and employees directly assigned to program.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Directs the work of employees including management level assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
- Develop new business or expand services with the customer.
- Conduct technical research to advance customer technical objectives.
What We Are Looking For: Minimum Qualifications
- 6 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant progressive experience with a Masters in related field; or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant progressive experience.
Strong customer service experience. - Excellent communication skills.
- Technical Skills:
- Demonstrated experience with Python, MATLAB, Java, Verilog/VHDL.
- Experience with FPGA embedded designs.
- Testing and Experimentation to characterize system performance.
- RF Test and Measurement – Experience in the development of automated test and measurements using laboratory equipment.
Preferred: Bonus Points For
- Understanding of:
- National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) Regulations
- Understanding of GPS/GNSS applications and interference analysis
- C/C++, Assembly, Vivado, Linux.
- Principles of Electronic Warfare, Radar, and Phased Arrays.
- Precision time transfer protocols.
- Radio Frequency testing and measurements.
