HII Mission Technologies is seeking an Urban Search and Rescue (US&R) Field Service Representative (FSR) to support the United States Army Reserve Command (USARC) Command and Control CBRN Response Enterprise (C2CRE-A) mission from our Abingdon, MD office. This role provides operational support, equipment maintenance, and instructional guidance for mission-critical CBRN response efforts. The position requires on-site work in Abingdon, MD with approximately 30% travel to support field operations.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and functional testing on CBRN commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment.
  • Perform inventory management and maintain Contingency Equipment Sets to support operational readiness.
  • Provide on-site operational support at unit locations, ensuring equipment availability for response missions.
  • Document operational activities, including After Action Reviews (AARs), checklists, and performance reports.
  • Create and track work orders within the Logistics Information System (Maximo 7.6).
  • Develop and update equipment maintenance schedules, ensuring compliance with readiness standards.
  • Assist in troubleshooting equipment issues, both on-site and off-site, to maintain functionality during operations.
  • Provide instructional guidance and technical training on equipment use for personnel.
  • Develop and update training programs and instructional materials for operational effectiveness.
  • Travel up to 30% per year to support mission-critical operational needs.

What We're Looking For:

 

  • 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
  • CBRN experience.

Preferred Requirements

  • CBRN background, with operational experience in search and rescue, equipment maintenance, or logistics support.
  • Experience with the C2CRE-Army Mission and Equipment.
  • Familiarity with emergency management principles and regulatory standards, including NIOSH, CAPI, and Ensemble regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience using Logistics Information Systems.
  • This position is an opportunity to support national defense operations, ensuring CBRN readiness and equipment effectiveness in high-impact urban search and rescue missions.

  • Ability to work in warehouse and field environments, supporting operational response efforts.
