Job Description

HII Mission Technologies is seeking a Mid-Level .NET Developer to support the United States Postal Service Office of Inspector General (USPS OIG). This individual will be a skilled applications developer with technical design capabilities including experience implementing design patterns such as model view controller (MVC) and model view presenter (MVP). This role can be worked remotely. 

 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Implement design patterns such as model view controller (MVC) and model view presenter (MVP).
  • Design, build, test, and maintain software applications using the .NET framework.
  • Support issue troubleshooting and customer support activities.
  • Work collaboratively with a development team to transform business requirements into a technical solutions.
  • Ability to work independently in the writing and support of complex applications.
  • May take on specialized duties on the development team as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
  • Client requirements: 3 most recent years of experience must include using Angular, C#, and .NET technologies.
  • Strong programming, design, and analytic skills related to Web Application development.
  • A good understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, including Single Page Application (SPA) design.
  • Excellent working knowledge of Angular.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft TypeScript.
  • Good working knowledge of C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core.
  • Good working knowledge of web formats and scripting languages such as JSON, HTML, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with cloud-based applications platforms such as Azure.
  • Experience with web services and REST APIs.
  • Experience working in the Agile software development methodology.
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL server and writing T-SQL.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience working within an Azure PaaS environment.

Client Security Requirements

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a USPS Sensitive Clearance.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder and have been living in the U.S. for at least the last five years.
  • Must not have traveled outside of the United States for more than 180 days in the last five years.
  • All candidates will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and drug screening per HII and/or client requirements.

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.
  • Experience with AI tools and technologies are a plus.
