Huntington Ingalls Industries - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Network Targeting Analyst to support our government customers.

The Network Targeting Analyst will be instrumental in all phases of the project from inception and transition through completion in support of United States (U.S.) Africa Command (USAFRICOM). This position supports a 24/7 requirement and works a rotating shift schedule, including holidays and weekends.
 

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • Performs all-source intelligence analysis support to the development of targeting options that identifies kinetic and non-kinetic measures Government authorities can take to mitigate, frustrate, or thwart threat network operations, directly or indirectly, based on available information and analysis.  
  • Provides Target System Analysis (TSA) of threat platforms and organizations that support operational planning and targeting efforts.
  • Provides targeting analysis and produce targeting vignettes and written assessments of associated targets, especially profiles of network individuals and entities and their activities, in order to enable kinetic, unilateral force and partner force operations.
  • Ability to communicate analytical assessments clearly and succinctly both written and orally.
  • You will work in dynamic fast paced environments that requires team interaction and coordination of efforts.
  • You must be experienced in interfacing with both internal and external leadership.
  • You will use your knowledge and intelligence acumen to provide critical recommendations to operational decision makers for regional and point analysis with detailed analysis products to support the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, and analyze targeting methodology
  • Application of advanced geospatial data and methodologies to enrich and contextualize traditional PED products.
  • A sound understanding of DoD collection assets and their efficient application.
  • Distillation of operationally relevant analyses from large volumes of data.
  • Provide regional and threat network-specific context traditional PED processes and products.
  • Direct interaction with forward-deployed Task Force.
  • Analysts will be expected to produce multi-INT products to build pattern-of-life for facilities and personnel. 
  • Additionally, analysts will employ novel data and advanced analytical techniques to generate insights in direct support to operational planning and execution.  

Minimum Qualifications

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Experience working with Full Motion Video Analysts.
  • Experience and proficiency using Microsoft Office, Google Earth, Motion Imagery PED Software Program.
  • Clearance- Must possess and maintain a TS with  SCI eligibility

Preferred Requirements

  • Familiarity with US Army and US Air Force manned and unmanned A-ISR systems
  • Experience with operational and tactical level intelligence experience to include knowledge in the fields of counterterrorism and/or Great Power Competition techniques
  • Experience supporting operational military units in the design and execution of operations in both steady-state and/or contingency environments.  
  • An understanding of multi-INT and commercial means of data collection and acquisition is required and experience designing data acquisition strategies is preferred.

Physical Requirements

May require working in an office, industrial, shipboard, or laboratory environment. Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces and extreme temperature variances.
