HII-Technical Solutions Division is currently seeking a Facility Security Officer (FSO) to work out of their Bremerton, WA   office.

The selected individual must possess a broad knowledge of the National Industrial Security Program (NISP) and Access Control systems. The position will report to the Security Manager on all tasks and interface with the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) on security clearance matters, rulings, and interpretations of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM) and execution of all classified contracts. They will ensure local procedures align with corporate security policies and applicable government regulations. The FSO will coordinate with other functional areas and leadership to identify and support business needs.

What you will do:

Duties and Responsibilities ( include but not be limited to the following):
• Administers security programs and procedures for classified programs
• Studies and implements federal security regulations that apply to company operations
• Obtains rulings and interpretations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
• Conducts security audits and facility inspections
• Provides security education to site personnel
• Investigates security violations and prepares reports specifying preventive actions
• Prepare, implement, and ensure procedures for safeguarding all classified material
• Manage all classified contract DD254's
• Prepare and submit required security reports to DCSA and/or customer officials
• Oversee collateral visit and clearance process, as well as classified document control
• Serve as primary POC for facility operations
• Provide incident response, initial and final reporting with recommendations towards corrective actions
• Interface with Cognizant Security Agencies including DCSA for external inspections
• Liaison and interface with IT department for all approvals and installations
• Support Division FSOs with Foreign Visitor management
• Support Division security policy and processes 
• Audits for DFAR/CUI compliance

What you must have:

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

  •  3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 7 years relevant experience.
  •  Three (3) years minimum experience managing DoD or IC contractor's security programs  
  •  Experience as Contractor Facility Security Officer (FSO), Assistant, FSO or Special Security Officer(CSSO)/Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) 
  •  Knowledge of both industrial security to analyze evaluate and interpret current security requirements
  •  DoD Secret level security clearance 
  •  Must be able to interpret the intent of available guidelines and use considerable judgment in applying them to individual situations
  •  Must possess excellent  written and verbal communication skills
  •  Experience utilizing JPAS, SWFT, NISS, and DISS
  • U.S. Citizenship is required

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

• Knowledge of access control and camera surveillance systems
• Knowledge of SCIFS, SIPR, JWICS, COMSEC systems 
• Knowledge of insider threat and counterintelligence programs  

Physical Requirements

Minimal mobility, dexterity, or coordination required to operate business machines. Minimal lifting may be required.
