This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Who We Are

HII - Mission Technologies is seeking a quality military veteran or IC Agency counterpart to join our team supporting the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Director of Strategic Information (DCI) in Woodlawn, MD. This position is for a Due Diligence Intelligence Analyst supporting defensive counterintelligence, insider threat, supply chain risk management, and the Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) programs for CMS.  Position is currently designated as a hybrid position with up to two days a week onsite and three days a week remote.

 

What You Will Do

  • Familiarity with current Executive Orders, Presidential Directives, and U.S. Statutes which govern the respective programs for non-Title 10, non-Title 50, non-IC executive branch government organizations 
  • Government policies regarding Risk Management is required
  • The Due Diligence expert will support research and analysis efforts in support of a non-Title 10, non-Title 50, non-IC customer.
  • The applicant leads the execution of both scheduled and unscheduled Assessment, Risk Management, and Due Diligence assessments across diverse programs and platforms.
  • Supports or leads task areas while coordinating closely with engagement team management and client leadership on strategy, planning, execution, status, and review processes
  • Adapts to a changing client environment while meeting client expectations
  • Manages priorities and works effectively to initiate correspondence and task completion. Supports multiple efforts through flexible multi-task coordination
  • Provides summary recommendations to team leadership regarding assigned work stream.
  • Applies fundamental industry knowledge and standards to support client reviews, improvements, and/or implementations
  • Prepares presentations, briefings, and actively participates in client meetings and day-to-day interactions
  • Communicates with team management through effective status reporting and demonstrates ownership and accountability for assigned task areas and work products
  • Establishes professional rapport with clients and other organizations
  • Evaluates work products for technical accuracy, deliverable quality, and overall value to the client
  • Attends relevant training, business seminars, and/or conferences to stay current with technical skills that align with client’s needs and changes in the industry

What We Are Looking For

  • 9 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 7 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 4 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 13 years relevant experience.
  • Must be a graduate of a formal USG Due Diligence course.
  • 2+ years of Due Diligence experience. 
  • Knowledge of various open source and common platforms utilized for in-depth research and analysis 
  • Experience within the Intelligence Community, CCMDs (J2X/3X), CI/All-Source
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • US citizenship required and must possess a current TS security clearance with SCI eligibility 

Preferred: Bonus Points For...

  • Formally trained in counterintelligence or open-source intelligence 
  • Knowledge of the National Insider Threat Task Force (NITTF)
  • Familiar with SCRM and all sub-sets of SCRM, such as cybersecurity, software assurance, obsolescence, counterfeit parts, foreign ownership of sub-tier vendors, and other categories of risk that affect the supply chain
  • Knowledge of CFIUS and the Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization Act of 2018 (FIRRMA)
