This opportunity resides with Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Cyber, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Summary
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Counterinfluence Specialist to support the United States Forces Korea (USFK), Assistant Chief of Staff, J2 (ACofS, J2) JIOC-K in their mission to provide timely intelligence to Commander, USFK and Combined Forces Command, the combined battle staff, and war fighter component commanders!
The JIOC-K's efforts focus on detecting enemy threats, managing intelligence, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) activities, analyzing enemy actions and information to determine enemy's probable courses of action.
The overall analytic effort strengthens Defense Intelligence and provides relevant, timely, objective, and cogent all source Defense Intelligence to the Commander and other users, and transforming theater intelligence activities to better leverage the capabilities of the theater and global intelligence communities and safeguard United States personnel and interests within the Korea Theater of Operations (KTO). What you will do
- Collaborates with other USFK Staff offices to counter foreign influence efforts
- Identifies and assesses foreign influence activity to fulfill critical intelligence requirements
- Identifies significant trends within assigned areas and propose ways to maximize the effectiveness of current and anticipated CI and HUMINT activity
- Identifies and develops measures of effectiveness for this activity
- Produces and presents related assessments, pertinent findings and responses to Requests for Information
- Collaborates and coordinates with Collection Requirements Managers and Collection Community on regular basis to drive and focus collection
- Coordinates and collaborates with other USFK Directorates, CI and HUMINT staffs at DIA, USFK, USINDOPACOM and other intelligence agencies on a regular and continuous basis
- Services may also require direct support to related Special Access Programs
- Provides All-Source analytical support to other USFK J2X missions as needed
- Additional duties as assigned or required
What we are looking for
- 0 years experience with Bachelors in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience
- Able to surge support during 2 exercises per year
- Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI clearance, with the continued ability to obtain a Poly
Bonus points for...
- Bachelors with 8 years of experience preferred
- Recent applicable experience within the last 2 years also preferred
- Familiar with the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA)
- Korea experience
